Outstanding GCSE results

The Kingsley School is incredibly proud of its GCSE students who have achieved excellent results this summer. They have shown great fortitude over the past few years and should be immensely proud of all that they have achieved.

Of all grades, 24% were awarded at level 9-8 (A* equivalent), and 44% at level 9-7 (A*–A equivalent) which is outstanding given the national context of a return to pre-pandemic boundaries. Top marks were awarded across the board in all subjects, with exceptional performances in Science, English, Mathematics, Art, Geography, Textiles, Food Preparation & Nutrition, Creative iMedia, and Latin.

Amongst the many outstanding personal achievements were:
Emily M, who achieved 8 Grade 9s, 1 Grade 8 and 1 Grade 7;
Elizabeth D, who achieved 6 Grade 9s and 4 Grade 8s;
Villana K, who achieved 6 Grade 9s, 1 Grade 8 and 1 Grade 7.

Deputy Headteacher (Academic), Mr Peter Bucknall, said: “We are delighted with the outstanding results achieved by our students this year and it was great to see them celebrating their success this morning. These results reflect the hard work, commitment and resilience that has gone into preparing for their GCSE examinations over the last two years, as well as the support given by teachers, family and friends. Our students can begin the next phase of their education with the utmost confidence.”

Mr Richard Nicholson, Principal of Warwick Schools Foundation, commented: “I could not be more proud of the Foundation’s GCSE pupils. They have applied themselves with focus and determination, characteristics which have paid dividends with such outstanding results, ensuring that they are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education. I hope that they and their families are truly proud of their achievements.”
