I am very proud to be Headteacher of The Kingsley School. My very first impression of the school was that it has at its very core a deep-rooted passion to educate the whole person, and nurture them to be the very best that they can be. I strongly believe in balancing academic ambitions with co-curricular endeavours, and Kingsley achieves this through its team of dedicated and specialist staff. It is a place where pupils benefit from individual attention and encouragement to empower them to take the next step in their learning.
Underpinning this is the excellent quality of pastoral care, where pupils are empowered and encouraged at every stage of their development. We are a community who care for each other and look after one another, fostering good relationships. We believe that we bring out the very best in all our pupils, whatever their individual needs and goals. At Kingsley everyone is valued; pupils are names and not numbers.
From the Prep School, through the Senior School and into the Sixth Form, you will find happy and engaged learners and staff. Kingsley pupils are confident, articulate and know their own mind. They are active, participating in a range of clubs and enrichment opportunities. All these opportunities enable pupils to develop teamwork skills, digital literacy and connect them with other pupils, even from across the world. A Kingsley pupil is a future-ready citizen, well equipped for the challenges ahead.
As the poet W B Yeats once said, “Education is not the filling of a pot, but the lighting of a fire”. Here at Kingsley we are all about igniting those sparks of curiosity and helping them grow into personal passions.
Come and join us to see for yourself; a warm welcome awaits you.
