EARLY YEARS PROVISION AT THE KINGSLEY SCHOOL
The years leading up to your child’s fifth birthday are their most formative and important. If you decide to select an early years setting for your child to help them before they join their formal schooling in Reception Class, the provision at The Kingsley School is one of the best in the county. For girls and boys aged 3-5 years, your child is welcome to join us as a Little Aviator once they are old enough.
Our Little Aviators Pre-school is bright and appealing, equipped with all the resources required to meet the needs of young inquiring minds. Children learn in a warm, safe and exciting environment and they are encouraged to develop in confidence by taking calculated risks with their learning, increasing their self-belief, and developing their independence through a better understanding of their skills and ability. Learning for our Little Aviators is approached through a play-based curriculum, nurturing each and every child to ensure they develop into happy learners ready to succeed when transitioning to Reception. Little Aviators follow the same term dates as the rest of the school, for a seamless transition into Reception and the rest of their time at The Kingsley School.

Located in our Prep School, our Little Aviators make excellent use of the available facilities. They enjoy swimming and forest school each week, and benefit from specialist teaching for PE, drama and music. Not only does this develop their confidence in interacting and building trusting relationships with a variety of adults, but it encourages smooth transitions as they progress through the school.
