At The Kingsley Preparatory School, we pride ourselves on being a warm and inclusive community, where each child is nurtured and celebrated.
Our Prep School fosters a vibrant and engaging environment from Early Years through to Year 6. Our small class sizes ensure a personalised learning journey, enabling pupils to excel academically and develop essential life skills.
Academic Excellence
The EYFS curriculum at Kingsley focuses on play-based learning, ensuring that young children develop key foundational skills in communication, language, literacy, and mathematics. Children are introduced to a variety of topics through a blend of child-initiated and teacher-led activities; promoting independence, curiosity, and exploration. Personal, social, and emotional development is central, with the aim of building confidence and resilience from an early age. The integration of Forest School sessions supports physical development and outdoor exploration, whilst nurturing a connection with nature. By the end of EYFS, our children are fiercely independent and fully prepared for the next step in their educational journey.
Holistic Development
Beyond academics, we believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals. Our students excel not only in the classroom but also in Forest School adventures, sports, music, and the arts. Small class sizes ensure personalised attention from our experienced academic staff, who instil values of good manners, social skills, and a thirst for new challenges. Independence and curiosity are celebrated, fostering a culture where every child feels secure, happy, and eager to explore.
Wraparound Care
We offer a comprehensive wraparound care for children, providing a safe and engaging environment before and after school. Our dedicated staff ensure that children from reception through to Year 6 can participate in a range of activities – including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and games – helping to foster creativity and social interaction.
Additionally, during school holidays, pupils can book onto exciting Holiday Action clubs in Leamington and Warwick, giving them the chance to explore new interests and enjoy a variety of fun activities throughout the break.
Warwick Schools Foundation
As part of the prestigious Warwick Schools Foundation, The Kingsley School students have access to a wide range of world-class teaching facilities. From state-of-the-art music facilities to a cutting-edge sporting environment, our students benefit from unparalleled resources across various disciplines.
"We’ve been so pleased with Kingsley since our son started. The smaller class sizes and nurturing environment here have been perfect for him. He’s grown so much in confidence and independence over the last few months."Parent
