It is with great pleasure that we introduce and celebrate our new Sixth Form Student Leadership Team for the academic year 2025-26. These exceptional young individuals have earned their positions through a rigorous selection process, and their roles are crucial not only to the Sixth Form but to our entire school community.
Leadership at Kingsley is about more than just holding a title. It’s about setting an example, making a difference, and working tirelessly to support others. Our new leadership team embodies these values and will be at the heart of our school’s development. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for our school and its values have brought them to this point.
Meet Our Head Students
We have chosen three Head students, who will each focus on a specific area aligned with the school’s strategic vision. They will work closely with staff and students to strengthen our community and shape the future of Kingsley.
Felicity will focus on academic achievement and learning beyond the classroom. Felicity is committed to ensuring all students thrive academically. She will support the academic life of the school by leading academic clubs, assisting younger students with study skills and revision techniques, and ensuring student voices are heard regarding our Friday Afternoon Activities. Her role is vital in maintaining and enhancing our academic standards, ensuring all students have the resources and support they need to excel.
Millie will focus on co-education and transition. Millie will work closely with key members of staff to ensure a smooth transition to co-education at Kingsley. She will support the new Year 7 intake, helping them adjust to senior school life and ensuring a positive experience for all students. Her dedication to facilitating smooth transitions for every student will help our school grow and evolve as we embrace co-education.
Larissa will focus on wellbeing and community. Larissa will work closely with the pastoral team to support the pastoral life of the school. She will ensure students feel supported, included, and valued. Larissa will also lead initiatives to enhance our school’s sense of community and ethos. Her passion for creating a safe and supportive environment for all students makes her an ideal fit for this role.
Our Head Students will work together, complementing each other’s strengths, to ensure strong communication between staff and students. Their leadership journey is about developing skills that will help them become the leaders of tomorrow. They face a challenging year ahead, but it is also full of exciting opportunities for growth.
Supporting Roles: Deputy Head Students
Supporting our Head Students are our Deputy Head Students, who will also play crucial roles in our school community.
Florence will focus on charity and events. Florence will focus on organising events, such as the Rose Ball for Year 11-13 students in the Autumn term. Florence’s passion for helping others and her organisational skills will be invaluable as the team works to create memorable events and raise funds for good causes.
Martha will focus on inclusion and transition to senior school. Martha will play a key role in raising awareness of equality, diversity, and inclusion across the school, leading activities and assemblies that will make Kingsley an even more inclusive and welcoming place for all. Martha’s commitment to helping every student feel valued and included is a shining example of the leadership that strengthens our school.
Looking Ahead
Together, these students form an incredible team, and we have no doubt they will excel in their roles. They have been selected for their willingness to serve the school community, support others, and help Kingsley continue to develop as a place where everyone can thrive.
This is an exciting time for Kingsley. We are on the cusp of an exciting journey with these leaders, and we look forward to seeing how they will make a difference in the coming year.
