The Sixth Form Fine Art Scholarship is awarded to students who exhibit exceptional technical skill, creativity, and a deep passion for art. Scholarship Selection Process
Applicants are required to:- Submit a portfolio of recent work, showcasing their best pieces (approximately 10 works) demonstrating advanced technical skill, creativity, and conceptual depth.
- Portfolios may include work from their GCSE portfolio, and should display a variety of media, styles, and techniques, with references to artistic influences where relevant.
- Where possible, portfolios should contain original artwork, though high-quality images are acceptable for delicate, large, or digital pieces.
- Portfolios will be returned to applicants approximately one week after submission.

The Sixth Form Drama Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional talent, passion, and commitment to the performing arts. Scholars excel in acting, directing, or other aspects of theatre and are dedicated to honing their craft while contributing to Kingsley’s dynamic drama community.
This scholarship recognises not only technical skill and artistry but also collaboration, leadership, and creative vision. Scholars actively engage in productions, workshops, and mentoring, using their talent to inspire others and enrich the school's performing arts programme.
Scholarship Selection Process
Applicants are required to:- Submit a letter of application or a short video (maximum 5 minutes, via Vimeo) explaining their passion for drama and reasons for applying.
- Submit a drama portfolio, which may include:
- Programmes from past productions.
- LAMDA, acting, singing, or dance certificates.
- References from drama teachers or directors (optional).
- Attend an audition and interview, where they will:
- Perform two contrasting monologues (one classical and one contemporary, approx. 2 minutes each, learnt by heart).
- Read a short monologue from sight, showcasing interpretation skills.
- Discuss their portfolio, experience, and aspirations with the Head of Drama.

Applicants will be invited to:- Attend a sports assessment, where they will participate in performance-based evaluations, testing their technical ability, agility, fitness, and gameplay skills.
- Engage in an interview with the Head of PE and Sport, discussing their sporting achievements, training commitments, leadership experience, and future aspirations.
- Provide evidence of sporting achievements, including:
- Competition results (rankings, awards, or titles at county, regional, or national levels).
