Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships and bursaries offer valuable opportunities to support your child’s education at The Kingsley School.
Scholarships are awarded in recognition of a student’s excellence and potential in areas such as academics, the arts or sport, and can reduce tuition fees by up to 50%.
Bursaries, on the other hand, are means-tested financial awards designed to assist families who may need support with fees, regardless of a child’s academic or co-curricular achievements.
Each year, interest in both scholarships and bursaries is high, and awards are limited, so we encourage early applications. To apply, please download, complete and return the form below.
Key dates for Year 7 2026 entry:
- Scholarship and Bursary Deadline: Sunday 7 September, midnight
- Scholarship Days: Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 September
- Application Deadline: Sunday 21 September, midnight
- Entrance Assessment Day: Saturday 4 October
- All offers will be with successful applicants by: Wednesday 5 November

Academic Achievement
In our flexible and caring environment, students are treated as individuals, with their unique capabilities encouraged and supported. Our curriculum allows for flexibility and includes subjects such as Spanish, classical civilisation, creative media, and drama. We are proud of our excellent GCSE results, in 2024 an impressive 35% of GCSE grades awarded were Grade 9-7, significantly surpassing the UK average of 21.8%. We are also immensely proud to announce a 100% pass rate across all subjects.
Smaller Class Sizes
Our small class sizes allow us to stretch and support students’ learning according to their individual needs. This personalised approach ensures every student can flourish academically and reach their potential, regardless of their starting point. Whether providing additional language support or encouraging early qualifications, we tailor our approach to each student’s needs.
