Sixth Form students at The Kingsley School are celebrating their academic success with an impressive 79% of grades at A*-C and equivalent across A levels and C-Techs.
There were notable results in C-Techs which saw 100% A*-C equivalent and Digital Media which saw an impressive 75% Distinction*.
Looking beyond today’s results, 83% of this year’s university applicants have secured places at their first-choice higher education destinations, including: University of Birmingham, University of Exeter and University of Warwick.
Head, Peter Bucknall commented: Congratulations to our 2026 cohort on receiving results for their A-level and vocational qualifications today. These results reflect years of hard work, commitment and perseverance, and we are immensely proud of all they have achieved. Throughout their time at Kingsley, these students have approached opportunities with curiosity, determination and a willingness to challenge themselves, both inside and outside the classroom.
As they move on to the next stage of their journey, pursuing an exciting range of pathways and ambitions, they do so with the skills, confidence and character to succeed. We thank them for the contribution they have made to our school community and wish every one of them happiness, fulfilment and success in the opportunities that lie ahead.
Director of Sixth Form, Rachael Bubb commented: It has been a real privilege to watch the Class of 2026 grow both academically and personally during their time in Sixth Form, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. They leave us as well-rounded, confident, and independent young adults as they embark on their next steps, whether heading to university, starting apprenticeships, or taking time to travel. We send them our warmest wishes for the future and look forward to hearing all about their next big adventures.
Richard Nicholson, Foundation Principal, added: It has been another year of exceptional outcomes for pupils across our Foundation schools.
Our purpose as a charity is to transform lives through power of education, with the aim of ensuring that those who benefit from being at our schools go on to make that same transformation in the world around them.
As well as huge success in public exams and the doors they have opened for the next stage of their journeys, we know that our pupils are also equipped for life beyond our gates, having made the most of the myriad character-forming opportunities which are part of their day-to-day school experience.
We wish all of them the very best for the future and look forward to staying in touch through our active alumni associations.
I would also like to pay tribute to our pupils’ families for their tremendous support over many years.
