Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) at The Kingsley School
Starting in September 2025, The Kingsley School will implement the Warwick Schools Foundation Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme, aimed at enhancing teaching and learning through the effective integration of digital technology in the classroom. From the start of Year 7, students are required to bring a personal touchscreen Windows device to support their learning across the curriculum.
We understand that parents may need to invest in a suitable device for their child—whether by upgrading an existing one or purchasing a new device for the first time.

Device Requirements
Please note that all devices used within the BYOD programme must be Windows-based. However, our approach remains inclusive and flexible, supporting a wide range of devices that meet our minimum specification requirements. This allows families to select a device that best suits their preferences and budget, while still meeting the educational needs of our pupils.
We review our device specifications annually to ensure they remain accessible for all families and aligned with the evolving demands of digital learning.
