The Gift of Tomorrow, Today

Leaving a legacy gift to Kingsley School is one of the most powerful and lasting ways to help us continue to provide an outstanding education for our students.

The generosity of these special types of gifts helps future generations of students thrive and ensures that the spaces where they learn and grow remain truly exceptional.

  • After taking care of your loved ones in your Will, you can make a provision for Kingsley School as an additional beneficiary. Pledging a legacy gift will cost you nothing today, but is one of the greatest gifts you can make to the school that will leave an impact long into the future.
  • Your gift will ensure that more young people, who wouldn’t otherwise be able to benefit from a Kingsley education, can fulfil their potential
  • It is possible to leave either a capital amount or a share of the residue of your estate. Whether £1,000 or £1,000,000, or from 1% of your estate to 100%, your legacy gift will make a significant difference.
  • A legacy gift to the school is free of tax and may reduce the inheritance tax liabilities on your estate. A reduced rate of Inheritance Tax applies where 10% or more of a net estate is left to charity. In those cases, the current 40% rate will be reduced to 36%
  • Those who have chosen to support in this special way will become a member of the Floreat Society, which was established to recognise and thank those who have left a legacy gift to one or more of the schools in our Foundation family.
  • Please seek professional legal advice when writing or amending your will. Your solicitor will also be able to discuss the tax benefits that your gift can have.
  • Once you have included a legacy gift in your Will, we’d love for you to inform us so that we can appropriately thank you and invite you to become a member of the Floreat Society – a society created to thank and recognise those who have chosen to leave a gift in this special way, and also to involve their loved ones.
  • We suggest using the following wording in your will:
I give to Warwick School Foundation (UK Registered Charity Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, Myton Road, Warwick, CV34 6PP; Charity Number 1088057), [the residue of my estate] / [___% of the residue of my estate] / [the sum of £____] free from all taxes and duties. I express the wish that the Foundation uses this funding to support bursary provision for pupils attending Kingsley School. By making your gift unrestricted you will provide even greater flexibility, enabling the school to adapt to areas of greatest need for students, and ensure that your wishes are fulfilled.
